იმუნიზაციის კვირეულის (ეიკ) ფარგლებში ტყიბულის მუნიციპალიტეტის საზოგადოებრივი ჯანმრთელობის ცენტრის მიერ დაგეგმილია საინფორმაციო შეხვედრები საბავშვო ბაღის აღსაზრდელთა მშობლებთან და სამედიცინო დაწესებულებებში.
მისი მიზანია მოსახლოების ცნობიერების ამაღლება იმუნიცაციის მნიშვნელობის შესახებ ადამიანთა ჯანმრთელობისა და კეთლდღეობისათვის.
გადარჩენილ სიცოცხლეთა რაოდენობის თვალსაზრისით კაცობრიობა მედიცინის სხვა არც ერთ დარგთან არ არის ისე ვალში, როგორც იმუნიცაზიასთან.
იმუნიცაზია შესულია ყველა დროის უდიდეს სამედიცინო მიღწევათა ათეულში (პენიცილინი, რენტგენის სხივი, დნმ, ინსულინი, ანესთეზია და სხვა).
XX საუკუნის საზოგადოებრივი ჯანმრთელობის იმ მიღწევათა ათეულში, რომელმაც შეცვალეს კაცობრიობა, იმუნიზაცია იკავებს პირველ ადგილს.
საქართველოს ჯანმრთელობის შესახებ კანონის შესაბამისად, 1996 წლიდან, მოქმედებს იმუნიზაციის სახელმწიფო პროგრამა. პროფილაქტიკური აცრები საყოველთაოდ ხელმისაწვდომია, უფასოა, იგი ამჟამად წარმოებს 13 დაავადების (დიფტერია, ყივანახველა, ტეტანუსი, პოლიომიელიტი, ტუბერკულოზი, ჰეპატიტ B, წითელა, წითურა, ყბაყურა, როტა ვირუსული ინფექცია, პნევმოკოკური ინფექცია, ჰემოფილუს ინფლუენცას B. პაპოლომა ვირუსი) საწინააღმდეგოდ, რისთვისაც გამოიყენება 9 სხვადასხვა დასახელების მაღალეფექტური და უსაფრთხო ვაქცინა.
იმუნიზაცია, როგორც მეცნიერება 200 წელზე მეტია ერთგულად ემსახურება კაცობრიობას, მილიონობით ბავშვს უნარჩუნებს სიცოცხლეს. იცავს სიკვდილის, სიბრმავის, ინვალიდობის, გონებრივი ჩამორჩენილობისა და ჯანმრთელობის სხვა მძიმე დარღვევებისაგან.
